interactive hologram, startup, 2016

project by Fraunhofer CeRRI
owner: Jacqueline Hen
technological development: FELD - studio for digital crafts

JUWL is an accessory for touchscreens that turns two-dimensional media content into an interactive, holographic experience. A display pyramid allows users to generate the visible 360° holographic illusion, which can be modified in real time by moving the pyramid over the screen.

With novel functions compared to competitors, inexpensive production, and flexible software framework, JUWL is suited for a variety of markets and applications: from product inserts and expanded digital game boards to use as an interactive exhibition medium.
